About The Position

Helfy is looking for a Junior System Administrator to join our team in Tbilisi and take ownership of branch IT infrastructure.

As a System Administrator, you will serve as the primary on-site technical contact for the Tbilisi branch, responsible for ensuring all office systems run smoothly, supporting staff with IT issues, and proactively improving the local technical environment. This is a hands-on role focused on both local maintenance acting as the operational extension and "hands" of Global IT, and reporting directly to Global IT Leadership for consultation and information.

Location: Kostava str. Tbilisi, Georgia (office-based)

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-6pm or 10am-7pm

Responsabilities

Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues on Windows and Mac systems, applications, and networking equipment.
Support office staff with technical issues, translating problems and performing hands-on fixes under guidance.
Monitor network, report slowdowns, and propose improvements.
Perform proactive maintenance, including cable management and system optimization.
Maintain documentation of common issues, solutions, and system configurations.
Regularly informing IT Leadership on branch technical status and collaborating to implement infrastructure improvements.

Requirements

4-6 years of IT Helpdesk experience, including at least 1 year working independently in an office environment.
MCSA or Cisco certifications (optional)
Proficiency in Windows and Mac systems, basic troubleshooting, file systems, and common office applications.
Hands-on experience with networking equipment: Fortigate*, Mikrotik, and Unifi network devices
Proactive, accountable, and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Fluent English (team is international)
